On Saturday, May 11, the play “Svijet mogućnosti/Enabled Theatre”, written and directed by Haris Pašović, was performed at the Grand Stage of National Theatre Sarajevo.
The Sarajevo premiere was attended, among others, by representatives of the Institution for Social Care, Health Care, Education and Training “Pazarić”, JU Institute for Special Education and Child Education “Mjedenica”, JU Centre for Uprbinging, Education and Rehabilitation “Vladimir Nazor” as well as representatives and members of associations that look after for people with disabilities, such as the Alliance of Associations of Persons with Cerebral Palsy FBiH, the Association for Support of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities “Oaza”, the Association of Families of Children and Persons with Developmental Disabilities “Dajte nam šansu”, the Association for Support to persons with mental difficulties and disabilities “Menssana” and others.
After the performance, the audience gave a standing ovation to the cast of the play comprising: Gordana Đurđević Dimić, Lidija Stevanović, Sanja Ristic Krajnov, Jelena Antonijević, Mina Pavlica, Marija Feldeši, Milan Kovačević, Marko Savković, Vukašin Ranđelović, Aljoša Đidić, Aleksandar Sarapa and Rade Perović, who were joined on stage by director Haris Pašović and composer Dino Šukalo.
In addition to Haris Pašović, the artistic team of the play comprises stage designer Ivana Jančić, composer Dino Šukalo, choreographer Larisa Lipovac Navojec and assistant costume designer Minja Davidović.
After Novi Sad and Sarajevo, the play will be performed in partner cities – Zagreb and Budva.
The play “Svijet mogućnosti/Enabled Theatre” was co-produced in partnership with East West Center Sarajevo, Serbian National Theatre Novi Sad, Festival Grad teatar Budva, the TALA Dance Centre Zagreb and was co-funded by the EU through the Creative Europe Programme.
