Pupils and teachers of ŠOSO “Milan Petrović” visit Serbian National Theatre

On Thursday, March 23, the pupils of ŠOSO “Milan Petrović”, led by the Deputy Director, Svetlana Bašević and teachers Maja Kukobat and Ljubica Kovačević visited the Serbian National Theatre (SNP) in Novi Sad, where they were welcomed by the director of SNP Drama, Milovan Filipović, director Haris Pašović, SNP Project Coordinator Dragana Kuzmanović and cast members Gordana Đurđević-Dimić, Marko Savković, Sanja Ristić-Krajnov, Aljoša Đidić, Mina Pavlica, Aleksandar Lazin, Aleksandar Sarapa, Stefan Starčević, Marina Sremac, Jelena Antonijević, Milan Kovačević , Lidija Stevanović, Marija Feldeši and Vukašin Ranđelović.

Guests from ŠOSO “Milan Petrović” toured the lower foyer of the “Pera Dobrinović” stage and visited the staging of the play by director Ivan Cerović. Then they went to the “Jovan Đorđević” stage and visited the workshops – tailors and wardrobes. Finally, they visited the chamber stage, where students and members of the ensemble held short performances and acting improvisations.

Director Haris Pašović and members of the acting ensemble also held a meeting with the parents of ŠOSO “Milan Petrović” pupils, who reported in detail about their everyday life with children with disabilities, challenges in exercising rights, adequate health care and protection, and the social stigmatization of persons with disabilities, as well as the enormous involvement of parents aimed at achieving fairer treatment and a secure future for their loved ones.
