Members of the author and production team of the Project “Enabled Theatre” led by the East West Center Sarajevo director, Haris Pašović, the Serbian National Theatre Project Coordinator Dragana Kuzmanović, the Budva “Grad teatar” Festival Project Coordinator, Aleksandra Maslovar and the actors of the Serbian National Theatre on Tuesday, March 21 visited ŠOSO “Milan Petrović” in Novi Sad.
On this occasion, a meeting was held with the Deputy Director of ŠOSO “Milan Petrović”, psychologist Svetlana Bašević in the Student House, after which members of the Project team attended and participated in the event “Poetry Day” in the Blue Hall.
The aforementioned event, in which parents and representatives of the Gerontology Centre also participated in addition to the wards of the school, was organized on the occasion of World Poetry Day, World Day of People with Down Syndrome and World Day of Forests. On this occasion, St. Patrick’s Day was also celebrated.
In addition to reciting poetry, today’s performance included karaoke, dancing and presentations on the significance of poetry, the importance of forest preservation, as well as on the origin and tradition of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
