The play “The World of Possibilities”, which was inspired by the lives of children and adults with autism and cerebral palsy, their families and the persons who care for them, written and directed by Haris Pašović, was performed at the Teatro Aveirense in Aveiro on June 15 as part of programme of the Cultural Capital of Portugal in 2024.
The performance was a great success and received emotional reactions from the audience as well as theatre workers, journalists and representatives of European theatre festivals. The hosts of our artistic team stated that the play and programme New Deal of Arts and Democracy, which was selected by Haris Pašović, had the best media coverage in the entire Portugal of all the events this year.
The ensemble comprised: Gordana Đurđević Dimić, Lidija Stevanović, Sanja Ristić Krajnov, Jelena Antonijević, Mina Pavlica, Marija Feldeši, Milan Kovačević, Marko Savković, Vukašin Ranđelović, Aljoša Đidić, Aleksandar Sarapa and Rade Perović.
In addition to Haris Pašović, the artistic team of the play comprises: scenographer Ivana Jančić, composer Dino Šukalo, choreographer Larisa Lipovac Navojec, video designer Dino Hujić and assistant costume designer Minja Davidović (costume design was done by Haris Pašović).
After Novi Sad, Sarajevo, Zagreb and Aveiro, the play will also be performed in Budva as part of the Grad Teatar Festival.
The play “World of Possibilities” was co-produced in partnership with East West Center Sarajevo, the Serbian National Theatre Novi Sad, the Festival Grad teatar Budva , TALA Dance Center Zagreb and was co-funded by the EU through the Creative Europe Programme.
